I believe that effective therapy relies on the strength of the relationship between the clinician and patient, so the treatment is planned with the individual’s needs in mind. I offer Individual and Couple psychotherapy/ CBT services to adults and couples experiencing the following difficulties:
- Depression/Anxiety/Trauma
- LGBTQI+ difficulties (couples and individuals)
- Relationship difficulties (incl. conflict; betrayals; separation; divorce; poly/mono difficulties; sexual intimacy difficulties etc)
- Life changes/adjustment (incl. grief; divorce; career changes; emigration etc)
- Personality disorders
- Personal growth and development (incl. exestintial conflicts; meaning in work; aging, meaninglessness and potency; isolation and belonging etc.)
What can I expect? Deciding to embark on the journey of therapy may feel daunting and often comes at a time when life feels generally out of balance or when our usual way of managing fails. The initial phase is therefore used to gain a better understanding of the patient and to establish how therapy can be beneficial.
Please note: During the initial two sessions a comprehensive clinical evaluation is completed in order to establish the most appropriate treatment for each patient/couple.
